0 Cold Lasers for Chronic Pain Relief

The latest buzz in the world of medicine is probably the Cold Lasers. Cold laser therapy has evolved as a chronic pain treatment option which many patients would love giving a thought to. Cold lasers use explicit wavelengths of light to lower the level of pain for conditions that were failed to be managed by other pain relief options.

Many patients utilizing this new method of treatment from pain clinics report it to be the best pain reduction process that they never experienced before. However it may look complex, but cold lasers work in a very simple manner. Since these work under the red electromagnetic spectrum which is cooler and cause no damage to the tissue cells, they got the name of “cold” laser.

Cold laser is about the size of a flashlight and functions by directing a wavelength to the affected pain area that penetrates at least 2-5 cm below the skin’s surface to where the pain is located. This light then acts together with light-receptive elements in the cell, and create natural response. This way, the recovery and the healing duration of a particular chronic condition becomes faster and the pain is relieved.

The pain reduction from cold laser therapy may be temporary and may take a few sessions until the pain finally goes away, but the best part is that this treatment doesn’t cause any negative impacts on the patient’s health as it contains no such side effects that are associated with typical pain medications. If you are prepared to release your pain through safe methods involving no side effects, cold therapy from our pain management center may be worth considering.
